The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies is an access course to further advanced therapy qualifications. This qualification is aimed at learners aged 16 and over, who wish to progress onto advanced level 4 aesthetic programs but who do not hold a recognised level 2 and 3 beauty therapy qualifications.

Throughout this qualification, you will develop knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety about level 2 and 3 therapies. You will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with clients and analyse their skin to help the provision of facial therapies. In parallel, learners will develop their communication and customer service skills. The course includes 5 units, practical assessments, a portfolio of evidence and theory examinations.

The VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments is perfect for anyone who is wanting a career in the laser industry or for practitioners with experience that would like to receive a regulated qualification or add a new service to their clinic. This qualification has been specifically designed for the 18+ age groups, builds on existing knowledge and understanding of therapy skills

This qualification requires you to develop skills to carry out IPL and laser treatments, it includes the skills involved in providing a thorough consultation with the client to formulate a specific course of treatment, tailored to suit individual client needs, use laser alight treatment for skin rejuvenation and hair removal and to manage the health, safety, and security of the salon. This course includes 4 units, each unit has an assignment to complete to gain the qualification.

• Laser and light treatments for hair removal
• Laser and light treatments for skin rejuvenation

This is an approved qualification for working as an advanced beauty therapist specialising in reducing hair growth and photo rejuvenation of the skin. It also provides a sound platform for further learning or training at levels 4 or above.

The VTCT Level 3 Award in Anatomical and Physiological Knowledge of Body Systems is a qualification that has been specifically designed to give you knowledge and understanding of the main systems of the body. This qualification is aimed at learners aged 18+ who wish to progress onto an advanced level 4 qualification but do not hold a recognised level 2 and 3 beauty therapy qualifications.

The course will be delivered online you will have 12 weeks too access our online student portal and view the online course resources at your leisure from the date of enrolment. The course is taught through PowerPoint delivery there is no ‘live’ online teaching session to attend. You are free to study at a time convenient for you. You have up to 12 months from the date of enrolling to submit assignments, on completion of your assignment you will then sit an external exam at the Skin Survival Training Centre to achieve your VTCT course certificate of qualification.
